Despite his close connection to the hit series, he shared that he felt “isolated” as one of the cast’s newest eye candies — but he doesn’t believe that’s necessarily bad.Admitting that he “got to know the cast during Season 1” and “spent a lot of time in Atlanta” when they were shooting because of his wife, he said the feeling of being isolated made sense for his character. “I think the nature of this storyline meant I just got to spend pretty much all my time with Cat.
And so that’s — and I think the sort of knock-on effect of that was I felt quite isolated from the rest of the cast, but not in a bad way, obviously,” Ellis explained. “You know, we’d see them and stuff, but I felt, I felt like the odd one out.
But I think that was quite important actually for the story,” he continued. Saying it was a “great cast to join,” the actor shared, “I very, very much felt like all my, all of my stuff and work was concentrated with Cat.
