A couple weeks ago, some of the largest independent distribution companies and streaming services — including Spotify, Amazon Music, DistroKid, Empire, United Masters, Tunecore (and its parent company Believe), CD Baby (and its parent Downtown) — launched what they’re calling “a global task force aimed at eradicating streaming fraud.”

To buy tickets, fans had to first register and receive a unique code that granted them access to tickets in the city of their preference.However, upon tickets going live this morning, fans in France experienced issues as the site began crashing and sales were brought to a halt.“Some of you may be having issues with the site this morning – we are working on it and will let you know,” the company wrote on its Twitter page initially.Around an hour later, it confirmed that tickets for the upcoming show in Paris had been put on hold due to the ongoing issues fans were experiencing and confirmed that it would announce a new on-sale time shortly.“The Taylor Swift sale […] Eras Tour for Paris La Défense Arena has been put on hold,” the translated update read.

Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent Taylor Swift’s French fans are disarray as sales for the singer’s Eras Tour in Paris have been abruptly halted on Ticketmaster on Tuesday (July 11). Ticketmaster said on Twitter that “The Taylor Swift sale | The 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Eras Tour for Paris La Défense Arena has been put on hold.” The ticketing website added that it will keep people “posted with a new on-sale time as soon as possible.” It also said that “all codes not already used will remain valid.” The issue appears to stem from a technical glitch on Ticketmaster causing people to be unable to log into the website with their passwords. Swift is slated to perform in Paris, at the Défense Arena concert hall, as part of her Eras Tour on May 9, 10, 11 and 12 mai 2024.

A woman was arrested for trespassing on Taylor Swift’s beachfront property in Rhode Island over the July 4th weekend.  The trespasser was found in front of Swift’s mansion after several "No Trespassing" signs were placed around the estate, Westerly Police Chief Paul Gingerella said, according to the Associated Press.  Police said the woman was previously warned to stay away from Swift’s home. She was arrested Monday, and it's unclear if Swift was home at the time.

Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island home had an uninvited guest over the July 4th weekend, TMZ reported.Police in the upscale coastal town of Westerly arrested Kimberley Meyer, 54, on one misdemeanor count of trespassing, after being summoned to the opulent beachfront mansion by Swift’s security team.
