Voluntary group turn their attention to cleaning up Hamilton and Blantyre
Join thousands of others who have signed up for the Daily Record newsletter.A community group set up at the height of lockdown to help people in need in Hamilton are continuing with their efforts in the town.Helping Hands Hamilton was started by Sean Boyd (pictured right) and a group of fellow volunteers as a way to deliver care packages, groceries and other vital supplies to people within the local community during Covid-19.But, as restrictions eased, the group including, dad-of-three Sean, Letitia Emery and Emma McKenzie, decided to step up their efforts by pounding the streets and cleaning up paths, woodland and parks.The team have been all over Hamilton and Blantyre including Eddlewood, Whitehill, Burnbank, Laighstonehall, Cadzow Glen
