Our beloved Coronation Street turned 60 years old in December, and it doesn't look its age. The iconic soap, which has fans across the globe as far flung as Canada and New Zealand, was launched on 9 December 1960 inspired by the families living in the terraces of Salford, and it's still going strong with famous faces that have become part of the furniture.
