Jennifer Metcalfe opens up on co-parenting with ex and plans to have more children

Jennifer Metcalfe has candidly opened up on co-parenting her son Daye with her ex Greg Lake and how she plans to have more children.

Hollyoaks actress Jennifer, 38, ended her eight year relationship with Greg in 2020. Announcing the news in August 2020, Jennifer wrote on her Instagram page: "Greg and I decided to part ways amicably a couple months ago. "We remain friends and we both will continue to happily co parent Daye and would appreciate privacy during these times. "Thank you to everyone who has supported us before, during and after this." She told Fabulous Magazine: "We made a decision from the start that we wanted this to be good for Daye. "There was no bad energy [at the end] and I don’t even like using the phrase ‘split up’.

We’ll never be split, we’re a family and always will be. I never want us to feel split, for Daye, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure of that. "It was a case of: ‘This is us now and how do we make this gear change and not have Daye feel it?'" Jennifer explained how the pair have put their son's interests first. "I’ve always loved Greg as a friend and we get on well," the actress said. "So there was no reason for any of that to change.
