St Helens have completed the signing of Widnes Vikings youngster Danny Hill. Rugby League Live can reveal the Super League champions have tied up a deal for the 19-year-old Widnes academy talent and will link up with Kristian Woolf's side next season.
Hill, who is predominantly a fullback, is Saints' latest venture into the Championship, with the club making an annual habit of picking up a young talent from the second-tier.
In previous years, the likes of James Bentley and Joe Batchelor have been recruited from Championship sides and gone on to break into the first team.
Alex Walmsley is another example after his arrival from Batley Bulldogs in 2013, and the club intends to carry on this process in the years to come.
