Soccer Aid is back with more famous faces taking to the pitch for a very good cause. As ever, this year's event - billed as the "world’s biggest charity football match" - is raising money for Unicef.
The fundraiser has raised almost £40million since it was co-founded by singer Robbie Williams in 2006 with the aim of bringing celebrities and big football names together to help children worldwide have the best possible start in life.
It sees an England side taking on their opponents, the Soccer Aid World XI. READ MORE: 37 of the best things to do and places to visit in Manchester Previous celebrity players in the exhibition match have included Gordon Ramsay, Gethin Jones, Olly Murs, Marvin Humes and John Bishop.
Teddy Sheringham, Graham Le Saux, Jaap Stam and Roy Keane are among the football legends who have lined up alongside them in past games.
