Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

A group of drinkers were so embarrassed by their friend's behaviour at a bar that they posted a £20 tip and apology note to the 'poor' staff.

The friend group went on a night out to The Good Rebel in Stockport last week where their friend 'drank too much and was sick'.

The group made a run for the door, leaving barmaid Phoebe, 22, to clean up the mess. A few days later, the bar's owner, Martin Healy, 36, received a hand-posted card in the letterbox containing a heartfelt apology and a £20 tip which went towards a staff do.

The card read: "One of our group drank too much and was sick in your lovely bar. Read more: LIVE: M6 'likely to be closed for a few hours' amid a vehicle fire - latest updates "We wanted to apologise and offer this tip to the poor member of staff who had to clean up after us.
