SFA have confirmed that the upcoming match against the Czech Republic will go ahead after being given a 'categorical assurance' over squad safety.
A UEFA spokesman said this morning the match would be going ahead as scheduled but this clashed with a message put out by the Czech FA last night.
They had released a statement claiming the game would be cancelled with their squad "disbanded".It read: "Although the Czech national team defeated Slovakia 3-1 on Friday, the second match in Olomouc against Scotland will not take place in September."The international break is over, the squad has been disbanded."The reason is a conflict between the assigned medical professional and the head of the Czech FA.
