Second victim of Reading terror attack named as 'loving' American who lost husband to cancer six years earlier

Reading terror attack will be 'back together' with his husband- who he lost to cancer six years ago- heartbroken friends have said.

American Joe Ritchie-Bennett, 39, has emerged as the second named victim of the stabbing frenzy that killed three and injured three more in the English town on Saturday.

Originally from Philadelphia, he had been living in the UK for 15 years while working for a Dutch pharmaceutical company based in Reading, the Mirror reports.

He built a life in the country but sadly lost his husband Ian, 32, in December 2014 after a battle with colon cancer- with a distraught pal saying "I’m happy for them that they’re back together."Joe's devastated family have told of their horror at the 'senseless attack'.
