Scott Brown admits he's already missing life at Celtic as he thanked the club for their farewell message. The legendary former captain left last summer after 14 years of service to join Aberdeen as player-assistant manager.

But his stint at Pittodrie was short-lived with Stephen Glass sacked after less than a year. His coaching responsibilities were reduced under Jim Goodwin and Brown opted to leave the club before announcing he had retired from playing altogether.

And as he gets set for the next chapter in his career, his former club Celtic put together a touching send-off clip. In the two-minute video celebrating his greatest hits, the likes of Callum McGregor, Tom Rogic and John Kennedy are all seen paying tribute to the long-serving skipper.

And Brown has now responded, writing on Twitter: "Thank you @celtic for everything will miss they days! Lovely words from the lads."Brown made 620 appearances over his decade-and-a-half at Celtic Park and won 22 major trophies in that time.He won ten league titles and was present for the entirety of their famous Nine-in-a-Row.Where he'll go next is a mystery at this stage but Brown told Record Sport he wants to go into management.Raith Rovers in his native Fife are on the lookout for a new manager but it remains to be seen if Brown will throw his hat in the ring.
