Scots schoolboy mowed down in hit and run horror

driver who mowed down a schoolboy in a hit and run in South Lanarkshire. The 13-year-old was struck by a small silver motor on Main Street in Bothwell on Monday.

Emergency services raced to the scene, near the Clydesdale Bank, when the alarm was raised at around 2.50pm. The teen was raced to Wishaw General Hospital with serious injuries.His current condition is yet to be confirmed.Police are urging witnesses, those with dash cam footage of the area or anyone with information on the incident to come forward.Inspector George McCutcheon said: "We are looking for the public’s help to trace the driver of the vehicle, who failed to stop after the collision."I would ask anyone with any dashcam and mobile phone footage of the incident, or anyone.
