assaulted a 96-year-old care home patient. During a nightshift, two of Margaret McGhee Dunbar's colleagues were struggling to help the 'distressed' elderly resident take off her wet nightdress.

When Dunbar entered the room, she 'dragged ' the woman to the bathroom and 'roughly' put her on the toilet while shouting at her.

She then turned to the two assistants and said 'you didn't see any of this'.Dunbar was later convicted of assault and attempting to 'conceal her conduct' in court.The Glaswegian then told a disciplinary panel the two other nurses were 'exaggerating' their accounts of what happened.But she was struck off the nursing register by the Nursing and Midwifery Council after it found she caused 'physical and emotional harm' to the.
