Police Scotland has issued an urgent warning to drivers this summer as the force launches its two-week crackdown on drink and drug driving.
Officers say that they will increase patrols on Scotland’s roads to identify potential drink drivers from harming others over the next two weeks.
There will be a higher visibility of police on the roads, with unmarked patrols. Officers will also act upon intelligence and road checks during this spell.
It is hoped that this campaign will help increase focus on the issue of drink and drug driving.
