Sarah Ferguson is opening up about taking care of the late Queen Elizabeth‘s beloved corgis.
Following the Queen‘s passing at the age of 96 back in early September, it was revealed that her two Pembrooke Welsh corgis, named Muick and Sandy, would be going to live with the 60-year-old Duchess of York and her ex-husband Prince Andrew, who live together at the Royal Lodge in England.
In a new interview, Sarah shared how the corgis are doing in their new home, calling “it a big honor” to take care of the Queen‘s pets. Click inside to read more… The two corgis join Sarah and Prince Andrew‘s, also 60, five other dogs. “They all balance out,” Sarah jokingly told The Telegraph. “The carpet moves as I move but I’ve got used to it now.” Sarah and Andrew first gifted Muick and a dorgi named Fergus to Queen Elizabeth in March 2021 in effort to cheer her up while her husband Prince Philip was in the hospital.
Prince Philip died one month later, and sadly Fergus also passed the following day. Sarah and Andrew then gifted Sandy to the Queen.
