Santa is coming to Rutherglen – and he’s bringing with him a spectacular lighting display and toys for all the children.The Burnhill elf trail is returning next Saturday, December 18, and it is expected to be even bigger than last year.This free event from 4pm to 7pm allows families to walk from the playgym next to Glencairn Football grounds and then around to see the Christmas light display.Lizzy McDonald, one of the volunteers behind the trail, told the Reformer: “We are looking forward to it.
