Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

A woman who was attacked with a knife by her boyfriend after months of abuse has stood up in court as he faced justice to bravely vow: 'I will be healed'.

The woman had been in a relationship with her now ex-boyfriend, Kildare Ward, 26, from December 2017, until June 4, 2018 - the night he attacked her.

The couple met when Ward was 22 and she was 19. READ MORE: But Manchester Crown Court heard how Ward's behaviour 'changed' and he became 'jealous and controlling'. "You accused her of flirting with other men and you didn't like her going out with her friends.

You only wanted her to mix with your friends," Recorder Matthew Corbett-Jones told Ward. "You demeaned her by calling her 'a s**g' and you didn't approve of her seeing her mother." Ward didn't like his victim using social media and he persuaded her to give up her job.
