Outlander star Sam Heughan praised a fan for their 'wonderful' and 'generous' idea to make others happy on their birthday. Sam, best known for playing Jamie Fraser in the historical series, was blown away by the kindness of the big hearted Twitter follower, who has offered to gift four fellow fans with a copy of one of his books.
The 41-year-old actor, from Dumfries, has written two best-sellers alongside co-star and fellow Scotsman Graham McTavish - Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare, and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other, released in 2020, and The Clanlands Almanac: Seasonal Stories from Scotland, released in 2021.
Now one of Heughan's army of Twitter followers is bidding to use her Audible credits to fund free copies as a gesture to celebrate her birthday.
Superfan Susan wrote on Twitter: "What will bring me joy on my birthday is to make others happy. On January 20th, I'm using my extra @audible_com credits to gift 4 people the Audible version of #Clanlands or #ClanlandsAlmanac by @SamHeughan & @grahammctavish.Comment below the next tweet, if interested."
