Rylan Clark's New Year's Eve performance with the iconic Rick Astley has left fans begging for the former X Factor star to restart his music career. The This Morning star, 35, first shot to fame on the ITV singing contest back in 2012 before going on to become a popular TV presenter.Viewers brought in the bells of 2024 with Rylan on BBC One's New Year's Eve Rocks celebrations alongside music royalty Rick and Sharleen Spiteri and he blew his fans away with his singing voice after dropping his music career for TV.Last night, he proved he's still got his impressive vocals as he performed a rendition of You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) by British pop band Dead or Alive.

The former Celebrity Big Brother winner commandeered the stage alongside Rick and oozed confidence as he belted out the iconic 1980's tune.Taking to Twitter to poke fun at his performance, Rylan wrote: "It can’t get worse than me singing you into the new year.

2024 is on the up from here. Happy new year." He followed up his tweet with a snap of himself looking rather bored and unimpressed after bringing in the New Year on Instagram as he captioned it: "New Year.

New Me. And all that b*****s".However, his fans were quick to disagree with him as hundreds rushed to praise Rylan on his memorable performance with Rick as they gushed that it 'will go down in history'.
