Ryan Jack has taken a pop at his former fans at Aberdeen after helping Rangers into the Viaplay Cup final with a 2-1 win.The Light Blues will take on holders Celtic next month after the midfielder's leveller and a Kemar Roofe goal cancelled out the Dons opener by Bojan Miovski.
It was a game filled with talking points as Aberdeen captain Anthony Stewart was sent off for a reckless tackle on Fashion Sakala, while VAR also stopped working at a Hampden that's turf was cutting up at every turn.Another was Jack wheeling away and pointing to the Rangers badge after he scored, a move that will no doubt have peeved sections of the support he started his career at.
Posting to his Instagram story, the Scotland international wrote 'thanks for coming' with a shushing emoji, alongside a snap of the Aberdeen support while his name was emblazoned above them on the national stadium's scoreboard. After making his debut in red and debuting against his current employers in 2010, Jack spent seven more years at Pittodrie.
He left for Ibrox in 2017 on a free transfer. Follow Record Sport on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for all of the up-to-the minute breaking news, video and audio on the SPFL, the Scotland national team and beyond.
