Russell Brand's number of alleged victims continues to grow in light of Channel 4's recent Dispatches programme. On Saturday evening, the 48 year old comedian-turned-Hollywood-star was the sole focus of a 90-minute televised investigation, where several anonymous women accused him of "rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse".

He vehemently denied everything in a pre-emptive YouTube video the day prior, but it's now been reported that perhaps these individuals are only the tip of the iceberg. The BBC is now facing "urgent questions" after it was claimed that the father-of-two used his company-provided vehicle to pick up one of the girls (referred to as Alice on camera, whom Russell apparently liked to call 'The Child') directly from school. "The first time I used it, he told me it was booked to take him to his radio show but he had a friend taking him instead so I should use that car," she told The Times.

Alice went on to recall the same BBC chauffeur driving her from Russell's house to her grandmother's place, too. The BBC did not initially commit to an inquiry, but amid the increasing backlash a spokesperson came forward with this statement: "The documentary and associated reports contained serious allegations, spanning a number of years.

Russell Brand worked on BBC radio programmes between 2006 and 2008 and we are urgently looking into the issues raised." It's claimed that at least one senior executive brushed complaints under the carpet back when they first arose.
