Royal Mail delivery office in Fife after a member of staff tested positive for Covid-19. The female employee caught the virus after coming into close contact with an individual who was later confirmed as having the bug.

She was sent home from work at the weekend after being notified and has since tested positive for coronavirus. Fellow postal workers who came into contact with their sick colleague have been contacted and are self-isolating as a precaution.

Royal Mail confirmed they have carried out an ‘enhanced clean’ of the busy delivery depot on Woodmill Street in Dunfermline.
