Rochelle Humes reflects on non existent relationship with dad when she was growing up

During an emotional viewer phone-in about painful feuds and how to mend them, Rochelle, who is standing in for usual presenter Holly Willoughby, heard the story of one anonymous viewer called 'Sarah.' 'Sarah' had called in to speak with Rochelle, co-host Phillip Schofield and the show's agony aunt Vanessa Feltz to ask whether she should forgive her mum for lying to her for years about who her real birth father was.

After listening to 'Sarah's' story, mum of three Rochelle then reflected on her past, drawing on her own experience with her biological father Mark Piper to help the caller see things from a different perspective.The 32 year old turned to Phil and Vanessa and said: "This is the sort of thing that would definitely make me very angry." "Me and my dad didn't have a relationship but I always knew about him and my mum was very good at doing that." Rochelle continued to speak about how she would have coped if her mum hadn't been so open and honest about Rochelle's birth father, following their divorce when Rochelle was three.
