Robbie Neilson has seen Celtic’s Japanese contingent light up Scottish football and he is convinced his Hearts new recruit from the Land of the Rising Sun will similarly shine. The Jambos boss snapped up attacker Yutaro Oda this week on a three-and-half year deal from Vissel Kobe – where he played along side Hoops stars Kyogo and Yuki Kobayashi.
Celts boss Ange Postecoglou has signed SIX players from Japan with Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda, recent arrival Tomoki Iwata and Yosuke Ideguchi.Neilson believes it’s a top market to tap in to now the Celtic boys have led the way.
