Resident raises concerns over litter left at popular Loch Lomond fishing spot

Click here for more news and sport from the Stirling area.Gareth Bourhill, secretary of the Loch Lomond Angling Improvement Association (LLAIA), says that despite there being no way of knowing who exactly is responsible for the littering instances at any location around Loch Lomond, anyone who does leave waste behind is “not a real angler”.He added: “Some of the litter may have been washed ashore from other parts around Loch Lomond.“Whilst it’s impossible to say that this litter was definitely attributable to anglers, we would remind all members, anglers and permit holders that they must follow the countryside code and LLTNPA details about no rubbish or littering.”.
