Rangers and Motherwell fans pay their respects to Tom Forsyth on final journey

last Friday at the age of 71.His funeral cortege passed through his hometown of Stonehouse at 10:30am as the former Scotland international's coffin made its way to South Lanarkshire Crematorium.And fans applauded as the procession made its way along the high street.Forsyth was signed by Motherwell boss Bobby Hewitt in 1967 and was at Fir Park for five years before moving to Rangers in 1972.During his 10-year spell at Ibrox Tom won three league titles, four Scottish Cups and two League Cups under iconic managers Jock Wallace and John Greig.Forsyth won 22 Scotland caps and would go on to become Motherwell assistant manager under Tommy McLean, and had a spell in the dug-out himself at Dunfermline in 1982.
