The King, the Queen Consort and senior royals gathered at Windsor Castle today for the first Easter Sunday service of Charles’ reign. The royal family were out in force at St George’s Chapel in the grounds of the Berkshire castle for the traditional Easter Day Mattins.
A staple in the royal calendar, last year’s event saw the now-Prince and Princess of Wales attend in the spring sunshine with their two eldest children, Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, seven. This year, they were also joined by four year old Prince Louis, marking the first time the youngest Wales child has attended the Easter service.
He looked adorable in a pair of light blue shorts, high socks and a shirt and tie under a navy jacket and he clutched mum Kate's hand as he walked into the castle.
Kate looked elegant in a bright blue Catherine Walker dress, which she first wore last year, with a matching hat and clutch bag, whilst on her feet she wore a pair of nude stilettos.
