Police probe into body find in Aberdeen continues for second day as train services cancelled

A police investigation is continuing in Aberdeen today after a body was found on a roundabout in the city. Cops have said the probe is expected to continue over the 'coming days'.

A forensic tent has been set-up at the scene in Dyce, as officers continue to investigate the 'unexplained' death.Full details surrounding the circumstances of the body find have yet to be released by Police Scotland but they have told locals they will remain in the area this weekend.Officers were called to the scene between Stoneywood Road and Victoria Street in Dyce, Aberdeen at around 3.30am on September 17 where the body was discovered by cops on arrival.

Trains have been cancelled in the area over the past 24 hours and local roads are still closed this morning. In their latest statement, Police Scotland said: "A police presence remains in Dyce this evening following the discovery of a body near to the roundabout between Stoneywood Road and Victoria Street at around 3.30am today, Saturday 17 September."The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are at an early stage."More officers than normal are likely to be in the area over the coming days as enquiries progress."
