UPDATE: ALFRED HAS BEEN FOUND SAFE AND WELL Police have asked for help finding a missing 80-year-old last seen this afternoon.

Alfred, from Wigan, was on Allscott Way, Ashton-in-Makerfield, at around 2pm this afternoon, October 13, but he hasn't been seen since.

Officers have described Alfred as a white man, around 5'8" tall, of medium build, and short light-coloured hair. A picture of him was posted to the Greater Manchester Police Facebook page. A post alongside the picture read: "We're currently looking for Alfred from Wigan - can you help us? "The 80-year-old was last seen on Allscott Way in the Ashton In Makerfield area at 2pm.
