Plans to turn a former Farnworth pub into flats have been given the go ahead two and a half years after its landlord died of a heart attack following a fight outside the building with a barred customer.

Bradford Arms in Buckley Lane is set to be converted into nine apartments with planning permission granted around a year after work started on site.

The pub closed in November 2017, weeks after its landlord Colin Moore collapsed and died of a heart attack as a result of an altercation outside the premises with a regular customer who had been barred for “mooning”.
