Celebrity hairdresser and DJ Pete Zorba has tragically died at the age of 45, it has been confirmed. Pete died peacefully on Thursday, four years after he was diagnosed with a brain tumour and told he only had months to live.

His wife Melanie, who he shares two children with, said as she announced his sad passing: "He had the most amazing four years, he lived life every day to the fullest. "Throughout the whole time he was so positive, this was never an option for him.

He had such determination," she continued to tell Manchester Evening News. Pete was best known on the Manchester house scene and played at the Warehouse Project and Parklife festival.
