Women who receive a State Pension should contact the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) if they think they might have been underpaid their entitlements.In June the DWP said it was "aware of a number of cases" where people had been underpaid the basic State Pension.At the time, Work and Pensions Minister Guy Opperman said: "The department has already taken action to correct our records and reimburse those affected as soon as any errors are or were identified."The issue dates from March 2008, when married women received a low-level State Pension based on their National Insurance record, and Labour said 130,000 women could have been affected.During work and pensions questions on Monday, Labour MP Paula Barker challenged the UK Government.
