Patricia Kennealy-Morrison, known for reporting on rock music and for her relationship with The Doors' frontman Jim Morrison, has died at the age of 75. The news of Kennealy-Morrison's death was confirmed on Facebook by Queen Lizard Press, which she founded.

Patricia Kennealy-Morrison, a rock music critic and author whose betrothal to Jim Morrison in an ancient Celtic ceremony was depicted in Oliver Stone’s 1991 biopic The Doors, died July 23. She was 75.

Patricia Kennealy-Morrison was an author and journalist who was in a relationship with rock star Jim Morrison (1943–1971) of the Doors.Kennealy-Morrison became a rock music journalist as a young woman, bringing a new seriousness to rock criticism as one of the first women in the field. She interviewed Morrison in 1969 for Jazz & Pop, the magazine she edited and contributed to.
