Parents furious over 'crazy' barrier to stop children playing football in park

Angry parents have blasted their local council for putting up a fence that stops their kids from playing football in the park.

Furious residents say children have been using the green space to play football for 35 years after a local painted the outline of a goal on the side of his garage.

A feud with neighbours who complained about the games even resulted in the police being called out to the Devon play area, according to one local.
