Paisley Pirates boss shares delight as club's future is finally secured

Pirates met with Glasgow Clan after they successfully took over Braehead Arena and announced their home fixtures for the upcoming Elite Ice Hockey League season which kicks off in November.The Paisley side’s off-ice operations manager Jackie Turley met with Clan CEO Gareth Chalmers to discuss the Pirates using the rink as their home, as they did before the coronavirus pandemic struck.And a deal has now been agreed to allow that to happen, meaning the Pirates can now plan to get back in action towards the end of the year.Turley believes that even though the season will be shorter due to the late start, fans will still be delighted to get back to see their team do battle on the ice once again when at one stage the long-term future of the club.
