Odeon and Cineworld close amid coronavirus outbreak following latest government advice

A number of cinema chains have closed following recent government advice issued on the coronavirus outbreak. Odeon, as well as Cineworld and Picturehouse,have said they are to shut its cinemas across the UK until further notice.

Odeon posted a statement to their official Twitter account that read: “Following Government guidelines, Odeon cinemas are closed until further notice. “If you have pre-booked tickets online these will be refunded automatically.” Cinewold and Picturehouse said their closure will take place from Wednesday, March 18, and in Ireland starting on Tuesday.
