Fake text messages are being sent to O2 customers asking them to update their payment details. Online crooks have been sending messages saying billing details are incorrect and customers need to go to their O2 account and update them.
The scam text reads: "O2: Your billing details are incorrect, please update them by going to your O2 account on your desktop or mobile phone.”The message is followed by a link to a fake website, where criminals will steal your details to use themselves.
