The Intu shopping centre was gridlocked as on Saturday afternoon as shoppers desperately tried to get home.Many took to social media to complain of the delays, with some claiming they were stuck in the complex for over two hours.One customer tweeted: “wtf is going on we’ve been sat in our car for 90 minutes stuck on car park, sort this out ASAP as people with kids and vulnerable people in cars!!”Later, the same account stated: “2 hours 30 minutes sat in car park not moving..”.Another angry driver tweeted Intu stating: “pls someone sort out the exit from Trafford Centre Carpark, 3 hours stuck in the car selfridges exit, this is really not a good situation now people getting very angry.”Many added similar.
