Possibly one of the worst things about the 2020 and 2021 lockdowns was having to resort to home haircuts. Many of us will look back on those moments with dread, but Victoria Beckham seems thrilled to indulge in another virtual chop ahead of a Valentine’s Day date night with her husband David.
Perhaps it was because she was in the hands of stylist Lisa Satorn, and not in the hands of her husband and a blunt pair of kitchen scissors (oh, the trauma).Though Lisa is undoubtedly skilled in styling hair, she and VB still sought the help of celebrity hairdresser Ken Paves, who dialled in on a Zoom call to give Lisa instructions on how to cut VB’s hair.
Since Ken is good friends with the former Spice Girl, and has been doing her hair for years, VB probably wanted him there to supervise the very specific cut.The duo were also apparently first introduced by mutual friend Eva Longoria, and grew so close that Ken was named godfather to VB and David’s 10-year-old daughter Harper.
Victoria posted a short video of the virtual styling session to her Instagram, where she asked, “'Ken you're on Instagram what are you doing?” “'Lisa and I are cutting your hair,” he answered, adding: “A virtual haircut from New York to London.” VB is no stranger to getting long-distance hair advice from Ken.
