A noisy neighbour who 'harassed' people living near his home by playing loud music from early in the morning has had his TVs, speakers and stereos confiscated.The 49-year-old had been repeatedly warned by Bury Council after it was judged that the sound was loud enough to be constantly heard by people living around him and would continue throughout the day.But the Prestwich man - who has not been named by the council - chose to ignore the authorities, even when he was handed a notice demanding he stop turning his TV and speakers up to such a high volume.In response, environmental health officers obtained a warrant, went round to his home and removed any items which could have been causing the problems.This included numerous televisions,.
