No need for double-jabbed and under-18s to self-isolate from Monday, government confirms

Instead they will be advised to take a PCR test as soon as they have been contacted by NHS Test and Trace. But the fully vaccinated will only be able to skip self-isolation if they had their second covid jab 14 days before before they had contact with someone with covid.

On Wednesday night Health Secretary Sajid Javid said the government was changing the rules because 'getting two doses of a vaccine has tipped the odds in our favour and allowed us to safely reclaim our lost freedoms'. READ MORE: Greater Manchester's latest
