Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

A nine-year-old girl with a peanut allergy has become the first child to benefit from life-changing treatment.Emily Pratt took part in a clinical trial which gave her treatment to try and reduce the severity if her allergy to peanuts.Evelina London Children's Hospital took part in two large peanut allergy trials - the Palisade and Artemis studies and Emily's mum Sophie, put her daughter forward for them.Sophie says the trial 'changed the family's lives".She said: "Being on the clinical trial has changed our whole family's lives.

The treatment we received has meant that Emily is free from limits and the fear that the tiniest mistake could put her life at risk, and it has removed all the tension and worry that the simple act of eating loomed
