Netflix is testing out a new feature on some accounts, a shuffle button. Deadline reports that the streaming service placed the option on the home page of the network, and if chosen, would shuffle and randomly pick out a program for the viewer.
So, instead of you figuring out just what you want to watch as you comb through a mountain range of titles, Netflix is taking that hard work out for you and picking a random title that would be based on your preferences and past tastes.
The Shuffle Play button appears on the service’s sidebar, below the “Search” and “Home” and only on TV devices, including Roku.
However, the option is not available on your mobile or tablet. Netflix will make a decision soon on if the feature will stay.
