Ned Eisenberg was a character actor best known for his role as defense attorney Roger Kressler on “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.”  Ned Eisenberg was a Bronx born character actor who played defense attorney Roger Kessler in 24 episodes of the long-running crime drama “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” He appeared in two Clint Eastwood movies, playing a manager in “Million Dollar Baby” and photographer Joe Rosenthal in “Flags of our Fathers.” He made his movie debut in 1980 in “The Exterminator” and appeared in “Primary Colors” and “Last Man Standing.” His many TV guest appearances include “The Good Wife,” “White Collar,” “30 Rock,” and recently on “Mare of Easttown” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”  RIP #NedEisenberg. Leo Reed, former longtime secretary-treasurer of Hollywood’s Teamsters Local 399, has died. He was 83. Reed, a former pro football player, served as Local 399’s top officer for 25 years, and as the head of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters’ Motion Picture & Theatrical Trades Division for 20 years. The cause of death was not disclosed by his family.

A new, intimate, and personal look at the Beastie Boys is coming to Apple TV+.

Apple TV+ has debuted the full trailer for their upcoming feature-length Beastie Boys documentary Beastie Boys Story. The film is directed by Spike Jonze and has to be one of my hotly anticipated streaming releases in the coming months.

They join major companies such as Netflix and Facebook to pull out of the event

Netflix is joining other major technology and entertainment companies in canceling its plans for SXSW amid concerns about the spread of coronavirus, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. The streamer had planned to screen five films at the festival, including LA Originals, and had a panel scheduled for March 15 in which Kenya Barris and Rashida Jones would discuss the series #BlackExcellence.

In May of 2012, musician, artist, rapper, filmmaker, and political activist Adam Yauch (MCA) passed away after a battle with cancer. His influential group, the seminal hip -hop trio, The Beastie Boys, essentially died on the same day too.
