MSP visits charity to see what can be done to help Renfrewshire residents

A Renfrewshire MSP met with charity chiefs to discuss the cost of living crisis. Tom Arthur, SNP MSP for Renfrewshire South recently visited the Local Energy Action Plan (LEAP) offices on Lochwinnoch’s High Street to meet with the senior management team; Mike Callaghan, Tori Bell and Pam Shaw.

LEAP is a local charity organisation, based in Lochwinnoch, but operating projects in various towns and villages across the constituency.From their Car Club – which offers members hourly, pay-as-you-go car hire of electric and hybrid vehicles at affordable rates, to free Home Energy Checks, Youth Education programmes, and Active Travel events, LEAP’s reach is wide and their services invaluable, for people living and working here in Renfrewshire South.
