If you’ve ever wondered what the opening four minutes of Halloween would be like as a full-length movie then that’s sort of what you get with In a Violent Nature .

In a novel approach, writer-director Chris Nash, helming his first full feature, follows the point-of-view of killer Johnny (Ry Barrett) as he becomes hellbent on retrieving a precious locket taken from his resting place.

I was initially under the impression, though, that the flick was seen completely through Johnny’s eyes but that isn’t the case as we jump into scenes where the relentless killer is nowhere around.
