East Kilbride have signed Motherwell youngster Logan Dunachie on loan. The Lowland League outfit have secured the centre-back on a six-month deal after a mini-defensive crisis struck and the 18-year-old heads to K-Park to gain valuable first team experience. He is one of two youngsters to head out on loan from Fir Park this evening, with David Devine joining League One Alloa Athletic.

East Kilbride boss Kevin Rutkiewicz told Lanarkshire Live Sport: "We've got big Connor Morgan unavailable for the next three weeks and Stephen Bronsky picked up an injury against East Stirling on Tuesday night, which leaves us with one identifiable centre-half in Jonny Page. "Logan is somebody we've been watching and been very impressed with so we asked the question of Motherwell and we are very happy to get things done quickly and get him in."I'm almost certain he will be involved quite soon.

I think we will see him make a quick debut."He's young but we hope he will have a positive impact on us."There won't be anyone else coming in tonight, but we are still in the market for loans until the end of September."Dunachie could make his debut in Saturday's Lowland League clash at home to Edinburgh Uni.Announcing Dunachie's exit, Motherwell boss Steven Hammell told the club website: "We think of Logan very highly and I think this is the correct time for him to go out on loan and get some game time.“We wish him all the best for the his time at K-Park.”On Devine heading to the Wasps, he added: "David has had a difficult time with injury in the last two seasons.“We think he is over that now and this is a chance for him to play regular first team football at a really good club and to get into a routine of matches."Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwi
