Motherwell goalkeeper Trevor Carson reckons every player has to make sacrifices for the good of Scottish football in the midst of the pandemic.
The Northern Ireland cap was speaking after a Covid outbreak at Aberdeen put footballers actions in the spotlight. The Dons' clash with St Johnstone has been called off after two positive Covid-19 tests among Derek McInnes' squad forced a further six players into a fortnight's self-isolation.
The 32-year-old is willing to snub trips to restaurants and cinemas to play his part in completing the Scottish Premiership season - even though his partner is missing trips to Nandos. "We need the game to be played so we have a massive responsibility," Carson said."We can't live like hermits, you have to fill.
