Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction

Millions of people are thought to have been affected by this issue, with 60 per cent of these contracts unexpectedly jumping in price this year.
The telecoms regulator is introducing new rules requiring mobile and broadband providers, including big names like EE, BT, and Vodafone, to clearly inform customers in "pounds and pence" about annual contract increases.
This change will apply to contracts entered into from 17 January 2025. Currently, companies in the broadband and mobile sectors can hike prices mid-contract based on inflation figures from March and April, with an additional increase of up to 3.9 per cent.
