However, prior to finding love with ex-footballer David, 48, fashion designer Victoria, 49, was engaged to electrician Mark Wood, who she met when she was a teenager.
During the early Spice Girls days, Victoria even used Mark's surname, going by the name Victoria Adams Wood. She met Mark when she was 14 and he was working for her parents' electrical company, with the pair then going on to live together at Victoria's parents' £400,000 home in Goff's Oak, Herfordshire.
Just before Victoria auditioned for the Spice Girls in 1994, Mark asked her to be his wife. However, just as the girl group began to find fame Victoria, known as Posh Spice, ended her six-year romance with Mark.
